Nothing in nature or life remains the same, and I’m captivated by the elegance of this impermanence. Camera in hand, I wander the Pacific Northwest curiously turning my attention to nature's rhythmic cycles of birth, decay and renewal - each frame preserving the ephemeral beauty of life in motion. But, what I capture is not just about what I see. Those who engage with my work join me in a dialog of expression, their perspectives and impressions shaping our shared experience. Encouraged by memory and mood, each viewer participates with their own curiosity, turning a photograph a living conversation rather than a fixed statement. Together, we cultivate a shared appreciation that beauty is not always about grandiose or traditional aesthetics. It can also be about the subtle, the imperfect, and the transient - the quiet ebb of light at dusk, the tender movement of air through an open field, or the unseen forces sculpting a planet in endless motion.

I bought my first camera from an ad in the newspaper when I was just a teenager. That night, I took it out to follow a lone cloud drifting slowly across a clear evening sky. That singular fascination evolved into a lifelong passion for the visual medium and a profound connection with the natural world. This journey, which began in my youth, culminated in a years-long nomadic life. I now live in Oregon and wander the Pacific Northwest in search of interesting and unique landscapes, wildlife and plant life.
