I've been creating art or craft since I was a child and my mother taught me to sew. I finally ended my search for the "perfect" medium for me when I found art quilting.
I've been lucky enough to have been included in group gallery shows as well as solo shows. These include Mindpower Gallery, Tsunami Gallery, the Newport Visual Arts Center, the Elkton Community Education Center, and Black Market Gourmet.
I've been awarded various ribbons and awards at Oregon quilt shows for my work.
I was included in University of Oregon Culture Keeper program in 2021.
I love capturing images from the world and replicating them either realistically or in abstract using fabric and fibers. I use both traditional and contemporary quilting techniques as well numerous mixed media techniques and supplies. The unlimited subject matter and yet untried mediums should keep my love of what I do and create alive for as long as I can still hold a needle.
