Inspired by my father, an artist, I have explored various forms of creativity at a young age. Starting with simple drawings, I experimented with different mediums and ultimately specialized in oil painting. I refined my skills under the mentorship of accomplished artists such as Ning Hou in California and Ezra Katz in Baja Sur, Mexico, and studied color theory in college. My growth continues through reading and learning from prominent Impressionist artist throughout history.
My work has been exhibited in various galleries, including Lake Tahoe, CA; Douglas Gallery in Spokane; Indigo Gallery in Todos, Santos, Baja Sur; and Mind Power Gallery in Reedsport, OR. I have received several awards at art shows.
Painting with oil paints and their vibrant hues is my meditation and a way to express creativity.
Discovering oils 34 years ago led to my interest in impressionism. Over the years, I have developed a unique style focused on expressing the beauty of our surroundings. Nature serves as my primary inspiration, allowing me to convey a sense of harmony and tranquility through my work.
