Cedar Caredio

I started working primarily with wood in the late 1980's. I met renown Northwest wood carver/sculptor Dudley Carter, then living in Washington state, and apprenticed with him until 1991. I added stone to my repertoire of raw materials for projects in 2011. Currently, glass, brass, and copper round out some other materials that may be incorporated into a piece.

I am a sculptor of wood and stone who resides in Eugene, Oregon. This Cascadia region provides a multitude of subject matter to draw on as well as providing raw materials for my sculpture.
