Overlooking southern Oregon’s Umpqua Valley nearly a thousand feet below, Whitetail Ridge Vineyard is poised to take full advantage of the strong summer sun that warms the mineral-rich mountain soil throughout the day. In the evening, fresh breezes from the nearby Coastal range gently cool the fruit, allowing it to mature more slowly while it develops the distinct flavors and complex aromatics so highly prized from high elevation sites. We hand-pick our grapes and process at the peak of ripeness to yield the freshest, most favorable wines possible. We’re sure you will enjoy our “Wines of Elevation”.
